Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled SAS Grade clinician to join our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery team in North Cumbria. This is a full time fixed term post working predominately at the Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle. The appointee will deliver a high standard of care to patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial surgical or medical treatment and will work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving a high standard of care. The appointee will be required to work across Trust sites and undertake some clinic and theatre sessions.
Responsibilities
- On-call commitment
- Outpatient clinics
- Operating sessions
- Combined clinics; head & neck oncology, orthognathic, dermatology
- Attending patients on the ward and treating them under the supervision of the Consultants
- Attending and treating emergency patients under the guidance of the Consultants
- Provide cover during periods of holiday, study or sick leave
- Clerking of patients and maintaining contact with Dental and Medical Practitioners regarding patients
