Overview

This People Services Advisor role will work with staff across North Cumbria Integrated NHS Foundation Trust to support managers and staff in addressing employee relations challenges, improve performance and support positive culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support managers to comply with policy and best practice, coach and advise on employee relations cases and implement an inclusive and restorative culture in line with our Values.
  • Assist with investigation processes, arranging witness meetings, taking statements and coaching managers to support outcome reporting.
  • Advise on the management of a wide range of employee relations cases, support decision making around potential breaches of the disciplinary policy and analysis of situations.
  • Coordinate case management meetings, provide effective guidance and toolkits for managers and deliver training to enable managers to understand and follow policies and procedures.
  • Support and implement ongoing projects such as the reduction of sickness absence across the Trust and support cultural and sustained change to improve performance and patient care.

Qualifications

  • Experience in employee relations, investigation processes and coaching managers.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess situations and make judgements on people issues.
  • Excellent planning and communication skills, with the ability to deliver guidance, toolkits and training to managers.
