Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor 27 hours per week.
Band 2 /3 development post will be considered and will be expected to be achieved within 18 months (maximum). For the development post you will be required to complete QCF level 3 in health and social care to progress to band 3.
We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual to join our Occupational Therapy team at the Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle as an Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor.
The Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor will assist the Occupational Therapist to carry out delegated duties, within the acute hospital team.
They will supervise and instruct the patients in activities relating to their treatment programme and regularly feedback to the Occupational Therapist.
The service is part of a strong Occupational Therapy network, with links to the team at the West Cumberland Hospital, as well as the wider health and social care settings across North Cumbria. This provides many professional development opportunities and there is a strong focus on CPD within the team.
