Domestic Assistant (WCH)
2 positions – 17.5 hours per week (rotating 5 on/3 off). Shift: 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
Job Overview
Work within the North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust to maintain a clean and safe environment across hospital wards, clinical areas and other trust premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors and perform floor buffing.
- Shampoo carpets using extraction machines.
- Dusting – low/high damp, including windows, frames and sills.
- Clean furniture, fittings, mirrors and move furniture as required.
- Assist with induction of new staff.
- Routine cleaning and basic maintenance of cleaning equipment.
- Attend all mandatory training sessions.
- Order weekly stores and put away on delivery.
