Overview

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker Higher level (Beech C ward, Beech C CIC) at Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle. The closing date is 19 February 2026.

Health Care Assistant, Band 3, 37.5 hrs available.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on Beech C ward at the Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle. Beech C is part of the surgery care collaborative and is an acute Gastroenterology/Medical Ward. We offer extended learning opportunities to enhance your skills and support further education.

The essential criteria for this role includes the requirement to have a care certificate or the willingness and ability to undertake this. For further information please see the attached Care Certificate document attached.

Main duties

The successful candidates will work in support of the registered nursing team in providing the fundamentals of care for our patients. You will be expected to undertake the care certificate to enhance your knowledge and the care that you provide.

The role requires staff to work days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

  • or Short courses and completion of competency workbook equivalent to Level 3 in a range of patient and clinical care duties
  • or Equivalent knowledge and experience in a range of clinical care duties equivalent to Level 3;
