Position Statement: Responsible for providing care to all patients, including history and physical examinations, patient education, diagnosing and treating common ailments, and stabilizing emergency conditions as necessary. Reports to medical director for clinical performance and chief operating officer for administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides direct and/or indirect care to a specialized panel of patients.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
- Provides consultation for nursing and other disciplines.
- Arranges for or refers patients to needed services.
- Records level of care using CPT and HCFA evaluation/management guidelines.
- Assures that patient health records are maintained with concise, legible, and pertinent documentation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
- Holds appropriate state licensure.
- Board certification in internal or family medicine.
Pay Information: $270,000 - $394,000 Annually
