Radiologic Tech
Under direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level requiring no constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an A.M.A. approved training program in Radiologic Technology
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- One year’s experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
- Complete yearly Elsevier requirements
- Vermont state license
- CPR certification required
CT Tech
Performs C. T. Scan examinations on patients of all ages and coordinates patient flow and the activities of the C.T. Scanner. Prepares patients, equipment, and supplies for Cat Scan, and stores CT images properly on PACs. Is responsible for daily supplies and checklists.
Job Requirements
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Radiography preferred
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Computed Tomography
- One year’s experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
- One year’s experience as a C.T. Technologist preferred
- Complete yearly Health-Stream requirements
- Valid Vermont license
- CPR certification
- Work well without supervision
- Good written and oral communication skills
Multi-Modality
The Multi-Modality Technologist is skilled and certified and performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least three of the following specialty areas: Radiography; DXA; Mammography; CT; MRI; Ultrasound. As a Multi-Modality Technologist, the employee will meet the requirements and perform the duties delineated in each of the specific Job Descriptions that qualifies him/her as a Multi-Modality Technologist.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA approved Associate degree program in Radiologic Technology
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in any three of the following modalities: X-Ray; Mammography; CT; MRI; Bone Density; Nuclear Medicine; QA; or Ultrasound
- Maintain a Vermont license for all registered modalities
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a technologist
Pay Information
- Rad Tech: $37.13 hourly
- CT Tech: $43.49 hourly
- Multi Modality: $46.73 hourly
