Can you bring your vision, passion, and experience to support our rapid growth, and strengthen our board to deliver our strategy? North Cotswold Foodbank are looking for a trustee to join their board and lead on the key area of Marketing and social media.

We are a fast-growing charity that requires a Trustee who can lead the board on marketing and social media to raise our profile and support us in fully understanding our responsibilities, in line with any legislation alongside ensuring that our policies and risk assessments are kept up to date. The time you give will have a direct impact in providing essential support to people in crisis and will be critical as we work together to fulfil our vision of seeing a UK without the need for food banks.

What are we looking for?

  • A knowledge of, and commitment to, the work of North Cotswold Foodbank and Trussell.
  • To be sympathetic to the ethos and principles of Trussell.
  • An understanding of the reasons why people face hunger, food insecurity, and/or food poverty.
  • A robust knowledge of contemporary IT, systems, and data management.
  • An ability to lead on any matters relevant to your role.
  • The ability to provide carefully considered advice in a constructive way.
  • Someone who enjoys working as part of a team.
  • An understanding that some periods throughout the year are busier than others.
