Exam Invigilator

We are looking to appoint Exam Invigilators to join our examinations team.

Our Invigilators are employed on a casual basis, with hours and days of work subject to the timings of each examination.

This role is to supervise examinations as necessary throughout the school year and, when required, also act as a reader or scribe during examinations.

Duties include preparing the rooms, distribution and collation of papers, and the supervision of students.

You will need to follow documented processes and procedures to ensure examinations are run in a secure and confidential environment.

Training will be given to the successful applicants.

The successful candidate will be reliable, have ideally worked with young people, and be willing to take part in regular professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise examinations throughout the school year and when required.
  • Act as a reader or scribe during examinations.
  • Prepare the rooms, distribute and collate papers, and supervise students.
  • Follow documented processes and procedures to ensure examinations are run in a secure and confidential environment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Reliable and professional.
  • Ideally experienced in working with young people.
  • Willing to take part in regular professional development.
  • Experience in exam or assessment settings is preferred but not essential.
