Job Overview

Therapy Support Worker at North Bristol NHS Trust to support occupational therapy and physiotherapy within the stroke specialty. This integrated role assists patients with reduced balance, movement, mobility and cognitive impairment to manage daily activities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with acute or hyper‑acute stroke to achieve functional goals and facilitate discharge.
  • Deliver therapy interventions under the supervision of registered occupational therapists or physiotherapists.
  • Support personal and domestic activities of daily living.
  • Participate in group activities and other meaningful tasks.
  • Undertake administration and departmental duties as required.
