An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Senior Sister/Charge Nurse band 7 ED nurse to undertake a 4 month secondment. We strongly believe in outstanding patient care and want to attract like-minded people to help us maintain a supportive and enjoyable place to work. Every day will be different, busy but never dull. You will enjoy working with supportive co-workers, providing an efficient and caring service to our patients.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for dynamic, motivated, clinically strong candidates with experience in Emergency Medicine and with an appetite for innovation for change and service improvement. You will be expected to function effectively in a fast paced and constantly changing environment without compromising essential standards of care and professionalism.

North Bristol Trust is a large teaching hospital and is at the forefront of academic and nursing excellence. The ED is one of the busiest in the South West. As a Major Trauma Centre (MTC) and a Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) the ED has a 6 bedded resuscitation area with a nursing ratio of 2:1, a majors area with 14 cubicles and a ratio of 1:3, an ambulatory/observation unit and a dedicated minor injuries facility, including a unit for children, which is open 24 hours a day.
