Job Overview
The Digital Solutions Developer is a core member of the mortality improvement programme team. Their prime responsibility is to complete the development of the existing digital solution prototypes and deliver a production‑ready Microsoft 365 solution, while designing and building innovative cross‑system analytics dashboards that integrate data from multiple sources across the Bristol NHS group hospitals.
The post holder will work closely with the Lead for Mortality Improvement Programme and the Assistant Project Manager to complete technical development activities across the mortality improvement programme’s digital transformation workstream. They will support programme delivery by implementing relevant Power Platform tools, processes, and governance for all technical projects, from prototype completion through to production delivery and go‑live support.
The post holder requires excellent technical and communication skills, strong Power Platform development expertise, and experience working with data and governance systems within multidisciplinary teams.
Experience working within NHS governance, patient safety, or healthcare technology function is highly desirable.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
Desirable criteria:
- Advanced Power Platform certifications or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Further training or experience in healthcare technology, clinical systems, or digital health transformation.
Work Experience
Essential criteria:
- Power Platform expertise (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint) with demonstrated ability to complete projects from prototype to production.
- Experience developing technical solutions that improve business workflows and processes.
Desirable criteria:
- Experience with healthcare data integration including clinical systems or governance platforms.
- Knowledge of healthcare governance workflows or clinical data management systems.
