North Bristol NHS Trust (NBT) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Administrator for our Quality and Patient Safety Team within Women and Children’s Health Services. The position supports service improvements in Gynaecology, Maternity and Neonatal Services and offers an opportunity to contribute to the patient safety agenda.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administration and clerical support for staff and managers across all aspects of quality and patient safety within the Division.
  • Support the Division’s governance meetings.
  • Assist with internal systems, processes, and activities in the service.
  • Offer administrative support to Senior Leads and other staff within the Continuous Improvement and Learning team.
  • Report to the Continuous Learning and Improvement Support Manager.
  • Provide direct assistance to drive assurance and governance activity across the Division.
  • Support work on the core areas of responsibility for the service.

Qualifications:

Education and Training: GCSE grade A-C/grade 4 or above or equivalent in English and Maths.

Experience (Essential):

  • Experience working in a hospital environment.
  • Experience in a PA or secretarial role providing a full spectrum of administrative and office management duties.
  • Experience of organising, handling and inputting large volumes of data and producing basic reports and summaries.

Experience (Desirable):

  • Experience of using Hospital Information Systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Essential):

  • Minute‑taking skills.
  • Good basic administrative knowledge.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Canva.

Personal Qualities (Essential):

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and resolve conflicting diary appointments.
