Assistant Manager

North Beach has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our store in Silverdale.

The successful applicant will have exceptional communication, strong leadership skills and proven experience in retail management.

You’ll need to be mature, confident, results driven and dynamic; ready to get stuck in whilst providing day to day support for the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Providing support, mentoring, training and guidance to staff to drive results
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets, taking responsibility for sales and GP%
• Coming up with initiatives to improve performance
• Building relationships with local customers

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail management experience
• Excellent communication skills; ability to build rapport with a diverse range of staff
• A mature approach to work and performance
• Forward-thinking, dynamic attitude – able to identify improvement opportunities and follow through to drive results
• Friendly, approachable personality
• Interest in our brands

This is a fast-paced, busy role working Sunday to Thursday, approximately 43 hours per week and must be available to work public holidays.
