We are looking for an exceptional Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships to lead our growth strategy and help shape the future of our organisation. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving occupancy growth, securing new contracts, developing strategic partnerships, and identifying opportunities for expansion across our health and social care services.
Working closely with the Executive Team, you will lead our approach to business development, commissioner engagement, tendering, market intelligence, and external representation, ensuring we remain competitive, visible, and positioned for sustainable growth.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and delivering our business development and growth strategy.
- Building strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, ICBs, strategic partners, and referral sources.
- Leading occupancy growth initiatives across all homes and services.
- Identifying and securing new contracts, funding opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
- Leading the preparation and submission of high-quality bids, tenders, and proposals.
- Monitoring market trends and using data and insight to identify opportunities for expansion, innovation, and service development.
- Representing the organisation at conferences, networking events, commissioner meetings, and sector forums.
- Providing strategic advice and market intelligence to senior leaders and the Board.
About You
- Significant senior leadership experience in business development, commissioning, commercial growth, or strategic partnerships.
- A proven track record of increasing occupancy, winning contracts, and delivering sustainable growth.
- Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, tender frameworks, and the health and social care landscape.
- Experience developing successful bids and tenders.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial awareness, strategic thinking, and the ability to turn opportunities into results.
