Co-Founder / Early-Stage Business Partner – Food Start-up

Location: Sheffield (with potential for flexible/hybrid remote work for admin tasks)

Position Type: Full-time / Equity-linked Partner (Depending on structure)

Experience Level: No professional kitchen experience required—passion and drive are what matter.

About the Opportunity

We are launching an exciting new venture in the food production sector, focusing on bringing high-quality, authentic food concepts to both commercial clients (B2B) and direct consumers (B2C). We are not looking for a standard employee who wants to punch a clock from 9-to-5. We are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial partner who wants to build something from the ground up and work toward a massive life goal. If you spend your free time experimenting in the kitchen, obsessing over doughs, baking, or perfecting recipes, and you have the willpower to turn that passion into a thriving business, this is your launchpad.

What You’ll Do

  • Product Development & Baking: Take the lead in the kitchen, experimenting with recipes, perfecting baking techniques, and ensuring consistent, high-quality production.
  • B2B & B2C Relationship Building: Actively engage with potential commercial clients (cafes, venues, retailers) and local consumers to establish and grow our market presence.
  • Drive Growth: Work closely with the founder to transition from a small-scale setup to an efficient production model.
  • Go the Extra Mile: As an early-stage start-up, tasks will vary daily. You will need a "can-do" attitude to tackle challenges, streamline processes, and help scale operations.

What We Offer

  • A True Partnership: The chance to be part of a start-up from day one, with a direct say in the company’s direction, culture, and future.
  • Growth & Equity Potential: A compensation structure designed to reward your drive and results, aligning with long-term business success rather than just an hourly wage.
  • Mentorship & Development: Work alongside an experienced professional with a solid background in finance, hospitality, and business operations.
  • The Ultimate Learning Experience: Learn exactly what it takes to build, scale, and automate a food brand.

How to Apply:

Forget standard CVs. We want to know who you are and what drives you. Please send us:

  • A brief introduction about yourself and your career goals.
  • Tell us about your favorite thing to bake or cook at home, and why you love it.
  • A short paragraph on why the start-up life appeals to you more than a traditional job.
