North Ayrshire Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service (NADARS) offers you an exciting opportunity as Addictions Worker within our integrated HSCP team, to encourage and support service users living with addiction issues, in regaining control over their own lives and develop their own personal recovery plan. We offer robust training support with peer and management support to build your experience in this challenging but rewarding field of practice.

You will liaise with a variety of other agencies (statutory & non-statutory) regarding a wide range of issues involved in the delivery of care to facilitate a multidisciplinary team approach which will enable the recovery needs of the service user to be met. This is a rewarding post, and your intervention can support a very positive change to service users and their families' lives.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant PVG check (£59 or £18), which will be deducted from your salary following commencement of employment.
