The predicted salary is between 800 - 980 £ per month.

Temporary for 12 months. We may conduct our interviews in person or using Microsoft Teams for video calling. All you need is a device with a camera and access to the internet. We will provide guidance and instructions on how to use this method if your interview is being held virtually.

As part of North Ayrshire Council’s Modern Apprentice Recruitment Process, if, following interview, you are chosen as a Preferred Candidate, you must complete a 1-week pre-employment Course with one of our Employability Partners, before being issued with a Conditional Offer of Employment.

The qualification to be achieved on completion of the Modern Apprenticeship is SCQF5 (Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework Level 5). Modern Apprenticeship posts are open to all North Ayrshire Residents aged 16-19 years old at commencement of employment.

This apprenticeship is based within North Ayrshire Council’s Health & Social Care Service Stores team in Irvine. The Modern Apprentice will report directly to the Stores Supervisor and will support the stores team by carrying out general stores duties, and will be involved in supporting the team in all aspects of stores duties. The H&SCP Stores team provides a service to all service users, offering a wide range of materials and supplies to NAC housing properties to allow people to live independent lives within their own homes.
