This 4 on 4 off post is based within our Care at Home Service, Largs. Reporting to the Care at Home Manager you will support service users in the community to live independently within their own homes. You will assist with all aspects of personal care.

Responsibilities

  • You will provide personal care and support to service users, ensuring their safety, dignity and well-being in a community setting.

Requirements

  • Register with the SSSC within three months of commencing.
  • Maintain a satisfactory PVG check or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to confirmation of employment.
  • Willingness to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and be mobile (more than 90% of time on site).

Legal & Workstyle

  • Workstyle: Mobile – predominantly working on a mobile basis across multiple Council facilities and in the community.
  • All candidates must meet the legal requirements for working with children and protected adults as per the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Act 2007. Any barred applicants will not be considered.
