Temporary until 31st March 2027. We may conduct our interviews in person or using Microsoft Teams for video calling. All you need is a device with a camera and access to the internet. We will provide guidance and instructions on how to use this method if your interview is being held virtually.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and compassionate Family Wellbeing Support Worker to join our established and highly regarded early intervention service in North Ayrshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys working autonomously, managing their own caseload of children, young people and families, whilst also being part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will work with children and young people aged 5–18 years, alongside parents and carers, to deliver holistic, strengths-based support that promotes wellbeing, resilience and positive family relationships. Your work will include:

  • Providing early intervention and family support to children, young people and their families.
  • Delivering parenting interventions that strengthen family relationships and build parental confidence.
  • Supporting children and young people with emotional regulation and wellbeing.
  • Working with children and families where neurodiversity is a significant factor, helping them understand and navigate their individual needs.
  • Supporting parents and carers to access appropriate local and national services and community supports.
  • Promoting holistic family wellbeing through creative and person-centred approaches.
  • Managing a varied caseload while maintaining accurate records and outcome-focused practice.

Our team offers access to specialist expertise and opportunities for professional development, including:

  • A dedicated Educational Psychologist who provides coaching and training to enhance practice.
  • A Speech and Language Therapist who can undertake joint work and provide specialist input for children with developmental and communication needs.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and families.

  • Can build trusting and meaningful relationships with families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Is confident working independently and managing a caseload.
