This 4 on 4 off post is based within our Care at Home Service. Reporting to the Care at Home Manager, you will be involved in supporting service users in the community to live independently within their own homes. You will assist with all aspects of personal care as described in the role profile.

Successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC within 3 months of commencing in post.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children or protected adults.

Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to confirmation of employment being made by North Ayrshire Council. Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant PVG check (£59 or £18), which will be deducted from your salary following commencement of employment.

Each post in the council has been allocated one of these styles: Mobile – More than 90% of time spent primarily working on a mobile basis across multiple Council facilities and out in the community. There may be some limited opportunity to work from home.
