Job Summary

An opportunity has become available to contribute to an established strong and capable administration team based on the isle of Arran. This vacancy is for a full time permanent Clerical Officer who will provide efficient and effective support for a multi-site, multi-discipline team across the Arran locality within the North Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership. This is a wide, varied and challenging role supporting an extensive remit of Arran based health and social care services. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting frontline teams delivering quality services in social work, care at home, the full range of local health and allied health professional services as well as the Arran locality management team. There is the possibility of working weekends and public holidays with scope for working evenings and travel between sites to meet service demands. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential as is the ability to be pro-active and work on your own initiative with minimal supervision. You need to be able to learn quickly in a busy fast paced environment, which includes hybrid / agile workers with competing demands. Experience in health and social care services and working with highly confidential information would be an advantage. You will have demonstrable experience of current MS Office applications, strong IT and keyboard skills and the ability to prioritise and take full ownership for the quality of your work as attention to detail is essential.
