Job Summary

Facilities Management have an exciting role available of Area Officer. In this role you will manage a range of Cleaning, Janitorial and School Crossing Patrol operations across the Council, ensuring compliance with the Council’s policies, procedures, aims, and objectives. You will ensure Cleaning/Janitorial service standards are met and customer satisfaction is achieved through proactive partnership working with NAC’s Education staff, Property team, service users, and Facility Management colleagues. In this role, you will ensure recruitment and training for staff is effective across the service area. You will also help to shape the future of the service delivery. The working hours will be flexible to suit the needs of the service, which may include evenings. A current manual driving licence is essential.
