Job Overview

As a full-time driver, you’ll travel within MA, RI, CT, NH, ME to load and deliver windows, doors, kitchens, stairs, and related products to our customers, while adhering to safety policies and regulations. A clean driving record and excellent customer service skills are essential!

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Review truck route manifest with dispatcher prior to departure.
  • Pre-inspect truck fluid levels, lights, and other repairs using the truck inspection checklist to ensure safety.
  • Ensure load is properly secured in the truck.
  • Drive safely to the job site at posted speed limits, avoiding cell phone use while driving.
  • Ensure a safe environment for unloading upon arrival; communicate potential hazards to onsite management or dispatcher.
  • Confirm a support person is present on the ground to assist with unloading.
  • Inspect products for quality, quantity, size, style, and color during unloading, using delivery tickets and product knowledge.
  • Communicate regularly with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery; report damaged materials.
  • Collect COD balances if required.
  • Keep trip records and reports neat and legible; perform vehicle maintenance as needed and submit reports.
  • Report incidents or injuries immediately.
  • Maintain all certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and safety programs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe truck.
  • Present a positive image of the company and thank customers at every delivery.
  • If workload is light, assist in shops or warehouse tasks to support team operations.
  • Some drivers may be forklift certified to assist with loading.

Required Education & Experience

  • Valid CDL Driver’s License with road experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English well.
  • Knowledge of millwork products (helpful).
  • Material handling experience (helpful).
  • Forklift certification (if required).
  • Pass post-offer screening including drug test, physical, and background check.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly. Physical activities include driving, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting/carrying, reading, and hearing.

Work Environment

Work in all weather conditions (rain, snow, cold, heat). Job sites may be slippery, wet, or bumpy. Extended work hours as needed.
