THE ROLE:
- Produce and submit reports and analyses to validate the inventory as well as any deviations that may occur, accompanied by their justifications.
- Responsible for performance indicators related to inventory, service level and productivity.
- Perform weekly/daily verification of inventory levels and look for potential discrepancies with the system.
- Seize optimization opportunities (existing tools, processes, tools to be developed, etc.) aimed at increasing the level of service, individual and overall efficiency.
- Ensure the configuration of the IT system in connection with inventory management and development.
- Support the manager and the team in carrying out all other related tasks.
- Participate with the logistics team to resolve issues and find opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Carry out the monthly “cycle count” for warehouses on a weekly basis.
- Optimize the flow of goods to facilitate shipping/receiving operations on a daily basis.
PROFILE:
- University training in operations and production management (GOP) or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management.
- Knowledge of transportation and warehousing industry standards.
- Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written).
- Good command of the MS Office suite (Excel advanced level).
