Nortam Finishing offers specialist paint finishes to sectors such as Commercial, Aerospace, Defence and Medical. This is a very busy factory where a high level of attention to detail is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist paint sprayers in preparation of work.
  • Preparing metal work for painting, including sanding down of components.
  • Basic masking of metal components before they go to be painted.
  • Degreasing metal components.
  • Filling of metal components.
  • Packing of finished work.
  • Shot blasting.
  • General workshop duties.
  • General health and safety.

Forklift trained is advantageous, but not required. Completion of relevant paperwork is necessary, so a good understanding of the English language and a certain level of literacy is required. This job would suit someone that has a good attention to detail and takes pride in their work. Candidate must be able to work as part of a team and also be able to work on their own.

  • Full training will be given.
