We’re seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead and expand our Cybersecurity and Defence business in the UK. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth. As Sales Director, you’ll shape cyber and defense go-to-market strategies, inspire a high-performing cross functional team, and engage senior decision-makers to deliver secure and transformational outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead Growth & Strategy – Drive profitable growth by setting ambitious sales targets, creating go-to-market strategies, and ensuring they are executed successfully.
- Build Lasting Relationships – Engage directly with C-level executives, senior decision-makers, and stakeholders across government and defence, becoming a trusted advisor on cybersecurity.
- Expand Nortal’s Presence – Identify and pursue new market opportunities while strengthening and expanding existing accounts through cross-selling and long-term engagement.
- Sales Excellence & Performance – Own the pipeline, oversee forecasting, and track key metrics to ensure consistent performance and accountability.
- Inspire a High-Performing Team – Mentor and develop cross-functional teams creating a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Shape Winning Proposals – Oversee and guide the bid and proposal process, ensuring submissions clearly demonstrate Nortal’s value and stand out in competitive markets.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Work with delivery and marketing teams to co-create tailored, innovative client solutions.
- Negotiate & Close Major Deals – Take the lead in contract negotiations, ensuring outcomes that are commercially sound and aligned with Nortal’s standards and client needs.
- Champion Nortal in the Market – Act as an ambassador for Nortal, representing our expertise at industry events, forums, and client engagements to strengthen our brand presence.
Qualifications
- Experience in Cybersecurity with a proven track record in complex, consultative sales environments
- Strong knowledge of the UK public sector, government, or defence market
- Comfort and expertise in modern Cybersecurity solutions, such as incident resilience, zero trust enterprise, and operational technology security
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
