The Role:

The Norstella Pricing Director will report to the Global Head of Commercial Planning, Pricing and Alliances. They will play a pivotal role in identifying, proposing, and validating new pricing models, particularly as Norstella develops new AI/ML driven products and services, and support all aspects of pricing analysis across the Norstella business.

This role will be crucial in driving the growth and success of the business through advanced pricing analytics, data science, and modelling, as well as a deep understanding of novel pricing and packaging methodologies.

The successful candidate will have a significant business impact, advising on how products should be priced to drive sales and company profitability whilst staying highly competitive in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Be an SME in pricing and packaging, remaining abreast of the latest trends in the sector and bringing that knowledge into their daily work.
  • Recommend and build new pricing models, using statistical techniques for existing and new products.
  • Optimise and test pricing models.
  • Conduct data analysis to evaluate pricing performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Own pricing KPIs, reporting and visualisation, with a specific focus on understanding price attainment (discounting) and price realization (growth).
  • Conduct price elasticity analysis of all Norstella products and services in all segments and geographies.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support specific pricing projects.
  • Undertake ROI/value analysis of Citeline products. Share findings as key inputs into pricing strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Have a commercial mindset, always looking to align our pricing to Norstella’s three goals of driving new bookings, growing Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), and growing EBITDA.
  • Be organized, detail-oriented, and highly numerate.
  • Be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have strong data and analytical skills, and be confident working with large volumes of complex data using SQL.
  • Be a confident Salesforce user and possess excellent Excel skills.
  • Have 4+ Years experience of working as a Pricing Analyst/Senior Pricing Analyst/Pricing Consultant within a commercial setting.
  • Have strong educational background ideally with a numerically focused degree.
  • Have a curious mindset, always staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in pricing analytics, data science, and advanced modelling techniques, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our pricing capabilities.

Location:

  • Open to hybrid, remote, or office-based.

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel into Norstella offices as necessary, and attend industry events may be required.
