About the job and your team

Aligned with the strategy of Hydro Extrusions, we established our Automation Task Force Team with an ambition to improve the level of automation of our production sites. As a Project Engineer, you will be a member of a diverse, international group having the possibility to introduce industrial robots, cobots, AGV & AMR concepts, and many new innovative solutions cooperating with our production plants all over Europe.

You will work on

  • Improving existing value streams and implementing these into our factories in a new automated and robotized environment.
  • Analyzing new and ongoing projects of different locations to create standards.
  • Designing new, reliable, and tailor-made processes.
  • Preparing the technical documentation for internal solutions.
  • Acquisition of input data, as well as owning the technological solutions (products).
  • Completing assigned tasks in accordance with occupational health and safety and applicable regulations.

Your qualifications and skills

  • BSc or MSc degree preferably as an Electrical or Mechatronics Engineer.
  • Experience in mechanical design and engineering/electrical engineering.
  • Fluency in English both spoken and written.
  • Proficiency in ACAD software and other engineering 3D designing tools.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes like machining, moulding, welding, and additive manufacturing.
  • Experience in working with various mechanical documentation within an industrial environment.
  • Manual experience to assemble designed prototypes.
  • Good ability to cooperate with other team members during the preparation and implementation of projects.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and an action-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication skills to influence and manage relationships with different teams.
  • Strict adherence to professional secrecy.

You would also ideally have

  • Experience with product development and project management.
  • Experience in a similar position preferably in the automotive field.
  • Driving license (category ‘B’).
  • Knowledge of any other foreign languages is a plus.
