The Role

Based at our Carrington Facility, we have a position vacant for an experienced Mechanical Fitter, with consideration also given to a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, to join our team. The position includes working on all vehicle types—from mine vehicles through to vacuum trucks and service vehicles—undertaking vehicle body assembly, servicing, repairs, troubleshooting/fault finding, and general maintenance activities.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Mechanical Fitter or Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualifications.
  • Experience working on vehicles and/or mobile equipment.
  • Hydraulic experience (desirable).
  • Ability to work autonomously if required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Physically capable to perform repetitive tasks – lifting, bending, twisting.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical.
