About the Role
South West Norse is a successful commercial service partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering expertise across cleaning, catering and facilities management disciplines. We currently have a great opportunity for a Cleaner to join our established team at Westcliff Primary School on a permanent, part‑time basis, working during Term Time. The role involves carrying out day‑to‑day routine and ad‑hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures. While maintaining hygiene levels is an important part of site safety across all communal areas, this consumer‑facing role requires you to deliver a high standard of customer service to the clients across the facility.
Responsibilities
- Carry out day‑to‑day routine and ad‑hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Maintain hygiene levels across all communal areas to meet site safety requirements.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to clients and members of the public.
- Work independently and as part of a close team to achieve defined standards in a quality‑driven environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to work to defined standards in a quality driven environment.
- Good communication skills, capable of building relationships with colleagues, clients and members of the public.
- Comfortable working independently to your own initiative as well as being part of a team.
- Good attention to detail, able to deliver a high level of customer service.
- Previous experience in a commercial cleaning environment is an advantage, but full training and support will be provided for enthusiastic individuals.
