Kitchen Manager required at Webbers Primary School. Salary: £30,768.63 pro rata (equates to £14.79 per hour). Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-2pm, term time only.
South West Norse has an opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join the team based at Webbers Primary School on a part-time, permanent basis. You will use your skills and experience to deliver an exciting and varied menu that utilises locally sourced and healthy ingredients, providing an excellent level of customer service for the school.
You will be responsible for managing the catering department for children within the school. This role includes the provision of modified diets, catering for allergies and sensory needs. Providing input into menu planning and costing, you will help us deliver a catering service that provides a nutritional lunchtime meal, leading and directing a small on-site team to ensure preparation is delivered on-time and to high-quality standards.
We are looking for you to demonstrate knowledge and experience for the role, including:
- Experience leading a busy kitchen environment, capable of organising catering staff as well as being hands-on with meal preparation and cooking.
- A relevant qualification in Food Hygiene, with experience applying your knowledge within a catering environment.
