Waste Management Supervisor position available in Alfreton, Amber Valley. The role offers a salary of £35,284 per annum, working Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week.
Amber Valley Norse, a joint venture partnership between Norse Group and Amber Valley Borough Council, is responsible for providing domestic and trade refuse collections across Derbyshire. The Waste Management Supervisor will supervise the day-to-day operation of waste collections, ensuring contractual requirements are monitored and targets are achieved. The role also involves promoting and delivering excellent customer service while complying with Norse values.
The successful candidate will work closely with Amber Valley Borough Council on joint projects and support a culture of safe working, ensuring all site personnel comply with safety practices and procedures. Attendance at meetings on behalf of Amber Valley Norse is also required.
Requirements:
- Extensive previous experience in a similar Waste Management position
- Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety in a Waste environment
- Geographical knowledge of the local area
- Capability to deliver excellent customer service
- Full UK Driving licence with category C1 entitlement
