£37,209.24 per annum, equivalent to £17.84/hour, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Norse East Hampshire is a highly successful contract services and frontline public service provider. The company supplies operations of grounds maintenance, trade waste and street cleansing services to the public and private sectors across the South East of England. One of our key services is waste management, and we are currently looking to recruit an HGV Driver to work with our team in the local area. This position is being offered on a full-time, permanent contract working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Your role will be working alongside the waste collection team, driving our vehicles between domestic and trade customers and supporting with loading at sites and emptying the freighter at the depot. Our teams provide a valuable service within the area and maintaining our high level of customer care will be a key part of the role.
Our successful candidate:
- Ideally you will have previous experience within a waste management environment, but we are happy to provide support and training if you can demonstrate;
- Full UK Driving Licence with Class C Entitlement;
- Current Driver Qualification Card (CPC), with a Digital Tachograph Card;
- Experience driving Class C LGVs;
- Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team;
- Great communication skills;
- Capable of delivering a high level of customer service.
