Norse Group's HR department has an excellent opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our team at our Head Office in Norwich. This role sits within the HR Business Partnering team and is a busy, varied role supporting different stakeholders with a variety of tasks such as business change, TUPE and HR projects. Support and mentoring will be put in place to ensure you can reach your full potential.

This position is being offered on a full-time permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The Role

As a HR Advisor, you will be working as part of the business partnering team to deliver outstanding HR advice and support across the Group in line with Norse Group’s core values. As part of this you will:

  • Provide HR support and guidance during TUPE transfers and business change initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and eventually lead and manage small scale TUPE transfers and business change initiatives.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partnering team to support change management programmes including the development of consultation documents and supporting individual consultation meetings.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and review of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment law.
  • Support managers and stakeholders by providing first line support for all Business Partnering matters.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives such as wellbeing, EDIB and engagement.
  • Analyse, interpret and validate data to identify trends to inform decision making to support the business and report collation.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for you to have previous experience and knowledge as follows:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to have discussions at all levels.
  • Ability to form and maintain effective working relationships with all areas of the business.
  • Either currently working towards a CIPD Qualification, or a willingness to undertake this qualification.
  • An understanding of HR functions and systems.
  • Desirable to have previous experience working in a role within HR.
