Norse Group delivers property consultancy, commercial services and care across the UK. We support our frontline delivery of services with a number of back-office infrastructure support, including a professional Environmental, Quality & Compliance and Health & Safety team (SHEQ Team). We have a fantastic opportunity for an Internal Auditor to join our team based at Head Office in Norwich, on a permanent basis working 37 hours per week.
The role
- Working alongside the Group Audit Manager you will support with the planning, preparation and delivery of the audit plan throughout the business.
- Main responsibilities will include:
- Support the delivery of the audit plan throughout Norse Group and its related activities, under the direction of the Group Audit Manager.
- Provide clear and concise audit reports detailing evidence found and non-conformances to be actioned.
- Provide feedback on Non-conformances and assist with the identification of root cause analysis.
- Assist with audit frequency that is appropriate to the enterprise, Joint Venture (JV) and Group risk.
- Assist in maintaining ISO certification for Norse Group for ISO, ISO and SSIP.
- Assist with the preparation for internal audits for Norse Group.
- Support the Group Audit Manager with the successful completion of objectives and project work in accordance with agreed IMS strategy.
Our successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrable experience in a previous auditing position including preparation and completion of ISO certificate audits for IMS.
- Hold or working towards an IOSH / ISO Lead Auditor Qualification (or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) to meet the requirements of ISO, ISO and ISO.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of negotiating and influencing a variety of stakeholders.
- Capable of delivering short-term and providing input into long-term strategy.
- Full UK Driving Licence due to the travel requirements of the role.
