Operations Director – Norse South East Ltd Salary £70,000 – £80,000 DoE 40 Hours per week Norse South East, working in partnership with Havant Borough Council, is a highly successful Joint venture contract that specialise in providing frontline services throughout Havant and surrounding areas. Norse South East is a leading provider of comprehensive facilities management solutions, offering a wide range of services, including grounds maintenance, trade waste management and street scene operations. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Operations Director to join our team. This strategic leadership role is based at our offices on Penner Road in Havant and presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our organisation As Operations Director, you will play an integral role in developing and driving business growth for Norse South East and, leading and directing the commercial strategy, contractual performance and operational delivery of the Norse South East joint venture. The Role: Develop and maintain key relationships with stake holders. Drive business growth and ensure client and customer satisfaction is achieved to a high level. Lead, manage, and direct senior and middle line managers – ensuring all staff operate within Norse human resources procedures. Prepare detailed annual budgets, business forecasts and annual financial plans based on current contracts and anticipated business growth. Ensure contractual obligations and statutory requirements are met within time and budget. Lead on Health and Safety developing a positive health and safety culture, ensure all staff are up to date on regulations and operational staff are trained to industry standard at all times. About You: You will have previous experience working at a Senior Management / Director level within a complex business and ideally within some background knowledge in grounds and/or waste management. Alongside this you will be able to demonstrate: Extensive senior management experience including commercial and financial responsibility and strategic business planning. Experience in a multi -function service environment. Articulate communicator with excellent written and oral skills. Confident liaising with decision makers at all levels with strong networking and negotiating skills. Knowledge of delivering frontline services both private and public sector. Our Offer In exchange for your experience, knowledge and commitment you will receive: Competitive starting salary of £70,000 – £80,,000.
