We currently have a vacant position for a Waste Management Supervisor to join the team in Alfreton, on a permanent basis working 40 hours per week.
You will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operation of waste collections and ensuring contractual requirements are monitored and targets are achieved. You will also promote and deliver an excellent customer service whilst complying with the Norse values. Working closely with Amber Valley Borough Council on joint projects, you will need to support a culture of safe working, ensuring all site personnel fully comply with safety practices and procedures, as well as attending meetings on behalf of Amber Valley Norse.
Our Successful Candidate will have:
- Extensive previous experience in a similar Waste Management position
- Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety in a Waste environment
- Geographical knowledge of the local area
- Capability to deliver an excellent customer service
- Full UK Driving licence with category C1 entitlement
