Area Cleaning Supervisor

to oversee cleaning operations across multiple client sites around Barnsley. In this key role, youll ensure that high cleaning standards are consistently maintained, manage a team of cleaning operatives, and act as the main point of contact for both clients and staff. Youll play a vital role in delivering a safe, professional, and efficient cleaning service. The role is 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 7 hours a day, with various shift patterns that may include split shifts. It may occasionally include weekend working. A Full UK driving license is required as a company van is provided. Key Responsibilities:

Supervise cleaning teams across multiple locations, ensuring sites are maintained to contract standards Plan, allocate, and monitor staff schedules, covering absences and holidays where required Carry out regular site inspections and quality audits Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of cleaning operatives Manage stock levels and order cleaning materials/equipment as needed Ensure all Health & Safety, COSHH, and company policies are adhered to Liaise with clients to maintain strong relationships and promptly address any issues Complete and submit required paperwork such as timesheets, and reports About You:

Proven experience in a supervisory cleaning role, ideally across multiple sites Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Flexible approach with the ability to travel between sites (full UK driving licence essential) Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards Confident using smartphones/tablets for reporting and scheduling tasks Flexibility to work early mornings and evenings What We Offer:
