Lead Minibus Driver required in Great Yarmouth. £24,030.76 per annum, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, AM and PM shift each day.
NorweR Transport Division are currently seeking a Lead Driver to work at our Depot based in Great Yarmouth. You will be responsible for both routine AM and PM transport of our vulnerable children and adults to and from their destinations, supporting their wellbeing, providing a caring tailored service and ensuring a successful journey. You will also have higher responsibilities as this is a Lead Driver role that will come with more responsibilities.
Role
- As a Lead Driver, you will be required to be in regular contact with the Team Leader in order to support and update them on progress of the routes each day.
- You will also be responsible for planning the Rotas and Vehicle Servicing for the Minibus’ used each day.
- You will undertake split shifts as a Minibus Driver each day, operating our routes transporting people to and from their destination.
- This can be a physical role as you will sometimes be required to carry out physical tasks such as lifting wheelchairs or securing items in the vehicle using ratchet straps.
This position is being offered on a Permanent, Full time basis working Monday to Friday, working both AM & PM school runs all year round.
Applicants must hold:
- A full, clean driving licence with category D1 entitlement.
