Are you looking for a career where you can make a real difference to the lives of others?
Joining Norse Group will provide you with a fulfilling role, becoming part of a team that supplies locally
sourced, nutritious and healthy meals to residents within our Care Homes. We offer fully funded accredited courses, excellent career progression, and job satisfaction from giving back to your community and improving people’s lives.
A day in the life:
You will become an integral part of our resident’s home through daily interaction, not just at mealtimes but throughout your working day.
You’ll support the wider catering team with food preparation, ensuring an inclusive and interactive dining experience for all our residents.
Our aim is to ensure the wonderful world of food is available to all, including those with eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties. The social aspect of dining and the nutritious content of meals is fundamental to the health and wellbeing of residents in our care settings.
Upholding our high level of hygiene and cleanliness is vital which includes setting up service areas from the kitchen or remote dining areas, so they are ready for residents to enjoy their mealtimes and tidying away once service is completed.
About you:
If you have previous catering experience, then we would love to hear from you.
However, we have worked hard to create an extensive induction and excellent training programmes that means if you enjoy home cooking and baking and have a passion for good food, we can help you learn to adapt to a commercial catering environment!
Alongside this, we are looking for people who are passionate about supporting others and who share our core values:
- We care completely.
- We collaborate proactively.
- We act with integrity.
- We pursue better.
- We make it happen.
