Cleaner required at Newton Ferrers Primary School, £26,438.07 pro-rata (based on a 40 hour working week), equivalent to £12.71/hour. Monday to Friday, 6am-8am.

South West Norse is a successful commercial service partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering expertise across cleaning, catering and facilities management disciplines. We currently have a great opportunity for a Cleaner to join our established team at Newton Ferrers Primary School on a permanent, part-time basis working during Term Time.

Working both independently and within a close team, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures. Maintaining hygiene levels is an important part of site safety across all communal areas, and this consumer facing role will require you to deliver a high standard of customer service to the clients across the facility.

If you have previously worked within a commercial cleaning environment, this would be an advantage; however, at Norse we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals if you can demonstrate:

  • Good communication skills, capable of building relationships with colleagues, clients and members of the public
