Cleaner – Ysgol Bryn Derw at Caerleon

Newport Norse, a joint venture between Norse Group and Newport City Council, provides contract cleaning services across the local area.
We are seeking an experienced Cleaner for Newport at Ysgol Bryn Derw at Caerleon (formerly Nant Gwenlli at Hadrian Close). Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness, security, and site maintenance, along with performing various cleaning duties as required.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Report defects or issues to the Area Supervisor
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service
This is a part-time, permanent position working 16.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 6am to 9am.
Full training will be provided if you are new to the industry. Ideally, candidates will have:
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles
- Knowledge of relevant health & safety regulations, including machinery and product use
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Good communication skills and confidence engaging with the public and clients
