We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Cleaner for Malpas Park Primary School in Newport. It will be your responsibility to ensure the site is kept clean, secure and maintained; undertaking several cleaning duties as required.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Report any defects or issues to the Area Supervisor
- Ensure all health and safety is followed
This position is being offered on a part time, permanent contract working 15 hours a week, Monday to Friday 5:30am - 8:30pm.
We will provide full training if you have not worked within the industry before, but ideally we are looking for:
- Previous experience working in a cleaning, janitorial position
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations that are relevant to the post, including using relevant machinery and products
- Ability to work autonomously, managing your own workload
- Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with members of the public and the client
