Alliance Norse is our joint venture with High Peak Borough Council and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council. We specialise in providing repairs and maintenance across the Councils’ properties, caretaking and cleaning services as well as offering an improved housing repairs service.
As we look to strengthen our services within the partnership, we have an opportunity for an experienced senior management professional to provide strategic and operational leadership to the joint venture unit as our Alliance Norse Partnership Director.
As Partnership Director, you will lead and direct commercial strategy, contractual performance and operational delivery of the Alliance Norse joint venture. You will need to maintain and develop key commercial relationships with the client and further develop partnership opportunities. Other duties will also include:
- Delivering a sustainable, profitable business, which meets or exceeds Business Plan targets.
- Providing inspirational leadership, management and direction to ensure senior and middle line managers, ensuring all staff meet or exceed their individual and target plans.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with existing clients, stakeholders and key partners, including the development of strong links at all levels within the business.
- Financial budgetary and full P&L responsibility for Alliance Norse.
- Review the appropriate local organisational structure to deliver services in line with business priorities and service obligations.
We are looking for you to demonstrate a combination of industry knowledge, training and commercial experience for the role, including:
- Knowledge of British local government system and property services including political decision-making processes for clients.
- Degree educated (business or similar), and / or equivalent professional management qualifications and training.
- Extensive management experience at a senior level, including commercial financial responsibility and business planning.
- Previous working knowledge of Building Works at management level.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to recognise, raise and provide solutions to issues and risks across all levels.
- Full UK Driving Licence to meet the travel requirements of the role.
In exchange for your experience, knowledge and commitment we offer a competitive salary of up to £75,000 - £80,000 benefits package, 25 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays), enhanced sickness scheme, 10% plus 10% Amber Pension scheme.
