Caretaker required at St Giles on the Heath Primary School, Launceston, Devon - PL15 9SD.

£14.53/hour, equivalent to £30,227.31 pro rata (based on a 40 hour working week). 17.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3:45pm - 7:15pm.

We currently have a great opportunity for a Caretaker to join our established team at St Giles on the Heath Primary School on a permanent, part-time basis.

Role Duties

As a Caretaker, you will be working on-site under the direction of an area supervisor, ensuring the site and grounds are cleaned and maintained to contractual standards. You will be responsible for equipment and products used in carrying out your role, including inventory and safe storage.

Your Experience

If you have previously worked within a similar role then this would be advantageous; however, at Norse we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals if you can demonstrate:

  • Capable of delivering a high level of customer service
  • Confident working both on your own and as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with the client
  • Comfortable engaging with members of the public
  • Any knowledge of health & safety guidelines relevant to the role would be an advantage
