Join our team as a part-time Caretaker at Barnsley Outdoor Markets. We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Caretaker to work as part of a multi-disciplinary caretaking team with the responsibility of assembling and maintaining the market stalls.
You’ll be working 7 hours per week, on a split shift on Thursdays from 5:30am - 9am & 2:30pm - 6:00pm.
- Responsible for general maintenance both internally and externally of the premises.
- Emptying bins, litter picking, and building and dismantling parasols, trestle tables, and lighting.
- Repairs and maintenance to premises and equipment.
- Following health and safety at all times.
- Reporting any defects or damages.
Our Successful Candidate:
- Previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role.
- Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site.
- Confident working independently to your own initiative.
- Good organisational skills, with attention to detail.
