Recycling Advisor required in Wymondham, Norfolk

4 days on, 3 days off
Working every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
Saturdays paid at 1.25x, Sundays at 1.5x
Norse Environmental Waste Services (NEWS) are the waste and refuse management function for Norse Group, providing a full collection service across the local region. As we continue to deliver our frontline waste and recycling services across East Anglia, we are looking to recruit a Recycling Advisor for our Wymondham Recycling Centre.
In this role you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of the centre runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a public facing role where you will be engaging with members of the public whilst delivering services where you will be helping advise on disposal of waste and ensuring the site is always safe and tidy.
A full UK Driving Licence is required for this role
Our ideal candidate:
- Able to follow instructions and communicate at all levels
- Able to demonstrate good customer service skills
- Have knowledge of waste recycling
- Have experience dealing with the general public
With the opportunity to join a fantastic team on a part-time basis, we also offer annual leave entitlement, pension scheme and statutory sickness scheme for all our staff. This position is being offered on a basis working 28 hours per week.
