The Architectural Assistant Part II will be responsible for supporting the design team in the delivery of projects by undertaking a range of Architectural duties and ensure the effective and timely delivery.

Current work includes delivering Football Foundation hubs across the country, particularly in Manchester and London, alongside a wide range of projects for Leeds City Council's extensive asset portfolio, including housing, schools, heritage buildings, transport infrastructure and commercial developments.
We also work closely with Tier 1 contractors across Design and Build projects, providing opportunities to develop experience across multiple sectors and procurement routes.

Main Responsibilities
- Assist colleagues in the preparation of drawings and specifications and in undertaking surveys and preparing records of existing buildings and sites.
- Carry out administrative tasks relevant to the production of architectural information such as reprographics, issue of drawings, filing.
- Carry out allocated tasks competently and professionally within determined timescales, financial budgets and fee/cost targets.
- Prepare clear and accurate design documentation.
- Adhere to agreed Practice procedures, technical standards and Standing Orders.
- Liaise in a clear, positive and effective manner with colleagues and clients.
- Maintain client relationships to develop the client base.
- Deal with client queries and resolve resolutions.
- Fee earning at 90%, and contribute to the achievement of business plan objectives and targets.
- This role requires occasional travel to other offices and sites as required.
- Carry out duties appropriate to the grade of the post.
- Promote continuous improvement and deliver demonstrable high quality products and services which embrace quality standards.
- Demonstrate personal commitment to the Norse Way CSR strategy.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in a similar or related role
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, graphics software and Revit.
- Familiar with relevant construction, health and safety legislation and risks and hazards associated with asbestos
- Completion of RIBA part 1 and part 2, and working towards part 3
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in an Architectural related discipline
- Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain
