South West Norse work in collaboration with Devon County Council, partnering with a number of public and private sector clients across the Southwest to deliver a portfolio of property services.
We are currently looking to recruit a Business Administrator to join our Exeter based team located at Venture House. You will be responsible for providing liaison and coordination of operations within South West Norse, particularly focusing on financial administrative tasks.
Main Tasks and Accountabilities:
- To assist the Senior Administrator with local project data on South West Norse project database
- Provide technical support to South West Norse employees through effective resolution of queries and one-to-one support
- Dealing with project related queries from both staff and clients
- Support the Technical Administrator specifically with regards to Devon County Council purchase orders and invoices, service term contracts and tender administration
- Resolve problems and communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve issues
- Troubleshoot problems and issues, using knowledge and judgement to identify and follow appropriate courses of action to resolve
Your experience:
- Proven Office/Helpdesk, administrative experience
- Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good written and verbal communication skills, comfortable liaising with clients and members of the public
- Previous experience processing invoices and orders would be desirable
- Capable of producing accurate documentation and reports
- Excellent Numerical skills
- Knowledge of construction or project management would be an advantage but not essential
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Attention to Detail
